Yeah, I totally agree. I know that Rebecca has said that she IS writing the show as wish fulfillment. Like she wishes that was how things worked. But I still think they could have portrayed that in a way that was a little more conflicted? I guess I just wanted something a little more complicated, at least for story sake. I also know that they're unfortunately strapped for time =/
